Vintage Stitching Sampler Suite

This farmgirl-lifestyle one-of-a-kind find includes four vintage stitching samplers, a girl’s blue plaid dress, and matching pantaloons. Featured in the Aug–Sept 2008 “Raising Jane” issue of my magazine, the four included samplers are hanging on the yellow pinstriped wall in the photograph. Three out of four of the samplers are framed, and one no longer has a frame.

Dress and pantaloons are handmade. Size is 8–10 years. Dress has a shoulder to hem length of 28½ inches and a waist measurement of 27½ inches. Pantaloons have a 14½ inch inseam and a waist measurement of 22 inches.

Sampler pictured above is approximately 14¼ inches high by 18¼ inches wide, including frame.
