When I found a bag full of tan cashmere coat scraps in my attic from when we created stuffed animals in our 2017 “To Grandma’s House We Go” issue of my magazine, I was surprised. When I found most of the fur collar still in one piece, I was delighted. But when I found the three vintage once-upon-a-time-much-loved bears that I’d lovingly mended back to life, I had to sit down with them on my lap to ponder, keep or re-home. When I found the Edison record pinkeeper, that’s when I knew. My three bears deserved to live the rest of their lives out-loud in a loving home and my pinkeeper put to good use, rather than stored away in my attic. Meet Papa Oscar, Mama Esme, and baby Estella.

This vintage farmgirl lifestyle one-of-a-kind find includes tan cashmere coat scraps (does not shed at all) and most of the fur collar, perfect for making more stuffed animals (instructions enclosed), Edison record pinkeeper, vintage but lovingly repaired three bears: Papa Oscar, Mama Esme, and baby Estella. I couldn’t help but toss in a handful of gratis surprise handmade papa, mama, and baby bear coat hangers (not pictured).
