Dear MaryJane, Nick, and gang!
True hospitality is alive and well on the MaryJane’s Farm. We were kindly received and integrated into the life of the farm. Such a wonderful place to relax and enjoy.

A farmgirl myself, raised in eastern Washington, I have read MaryJane’s books, tried the products, & subscribe to the magazine, thanks to my husband. Now I’m here, sharing a new life experience, making memories with my two sisters and daughter! What a gift. Thank you MaryJane, for having the dream, to your friends and family for their support and to the crew who makes this possible. An opportunity to renew in a country setting is awakening memories gone by for me. Special heartfelt thanks to my daughter, Marci, who made this possible for my sisters and me.

My sweet niece, Marci Miller, brought my two sisters and I here as a total surprise! I’ve loved it! The setting, the peace, the detail, the homey feeling, the birds, the company … perfect and pleasant. A memory made to keep and warm the heart. Our farm tour was fun with flowers, hens, and strawberry picking. It all made me miss my childhood home on the farm. What wonderful memories we have and what a treat to experience this step back in time! This is truly a “take time to smell the flowers” experience.
Choice!

Dear MaryJane—
What an awesome experience. All the atmosphere of camping but the comfort of a 5-star hotel. We had a great time & enjoyed the experience. The tub, campfire, hot chocolate & S’mores were wonderful.
Thanks for the tour and nice time.

This was everything I hoped it would be—plus. The tush-wearying trip to get here worth every mile. My husband was afraid I would be disappointed because of my high expectations. Now he is excited to get home and build a retreat (a wall tent) such as yours on our property.
Thanks, MaryJane and all.

July 2009 | B&B Guest

Hi everyone @ MaryJanesFarm! What a wonderful way to spend a warm summer night.

July 2009 | Dennis, Katie, & Sadie

OMG! How wonderful to find a place and people like this?! It gives me hope and such inspiration. Simple, yet beautiful. Space yet community. I lost myself in the library. Tears came to my eyes at the overwhelming gesture of being let inside the sacred space of the magazine creativity grounds. Even getting to contribute ideas! From our baths (all 3 of us!) in the rain and lightning storm. To the abundance and free pickin’s in the gardens. The luxury is the best (a cot so comfy for my 3-year-old she never moved all night). I will definitely return. It feeds my heart and soul. Thank you one and all.
Love,
Dennis, Katie, and Sadie

July 2009 | Angie, Erin, & Lucy

Dear Nick, MaryJane & Staff
What a wonderful stay we had at your “Cottonwood” tent. My 6-year-old daughter Lucy loved her “tent house”. Her bubble bath under the stars will be etched in our memories forever! My sister-in-law Erin and me sipping our wine by the wood burning stove was perfect. Waking up to the friendly “moo” from the resident cow was the perfect wake-up call. Breakfast in the plum pit is the ideal spot! We will definitely be back and maybe we’ll include our husbands next time.
Thanks again.

Dear Nick, MaryJane and Staff, Thank you all so much for the wonderful time! We loved it and can’t wait to return. Everything was wonderful and everyone so friendly—we truly felt as though we were among friends. Keep up the great job of being such good stewards of God’s great land!

Thanks to you, MaryJane and everyone else who makes this all possible. It’s been everything I imagined. I’m a stressed-out ad exec from Seattle working on an exit strategy to a life on a farm. This place is a real inspiration. I had never been to this part of Idaho, and am struck by the amazing beauty. I hope to find my own slice of heaven someday soon, and will send you pictures when I do! A big shout out to Chris—fantabulous chef and all-around interesting guy.
Warm wishes and happy trails

July 12–16, 2009 | Alecia & Jeff D.

This trip was planned for my 25th birthday. I’d wanted to come here ever since I’d seen the ad and found myself on the website. “I have to go there!” We arrived on Sunday shortly before one of the most amazing thunder and lightning storms! What an awesome way to start our stay. This place is so tranquil! The cozy bed, the spectacular view, the sweet outdoor tub, and, most importantly, the great people made this stay a birthday I’ll never forget! Thank you, MaryJane, Nick, Chris, Brian, and Denali... oh, and Katy and Kayleigh! for all you’ve done! We can’t wait to come here again!
Thanks,
Alecia & Jeff D.
P.S. How could I forget the bike path to Pullman! Great ride! The good food at Nectar and Sangria! The totally rockin’ strawberries from the garden and the delicious farm-fresh eggs! We don’t want to leave!

July 15–16, 2009 | Sue

Dear MaryJane & Staff,

A blessing to be here in nature and a delight to meet such wonderful, talented, and joyful staff! Thanks, MaryJane, for visiting with us, and your encouragement to pursue my similar dream is a gift to my heart.

So amazing! So beautifully orchestrated by two beautiful people. Though I am from Idaho, grew up in Coeur d’Alene/Dalton Gardens/Hayden/Rathdrum, I now live in Tennessee. Standing in a food store, there was MaryJane’s magazine. I bought it and quickly made reservations as I was coming to my son’s wedding in Moscow. Brought my sissy & grandnieces and we are in heaven. The tub is warming up for me. We will come back! Thank you for sharing your “home place,” your life, as you inspire.

MaryJane,
I had a wonderful time. I really enjoyed picking berries and collecting eggs. My friend Megan and I had a lot of fun playing horseshoes.

Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me … two days at the farm, and I don’t want to leave!
It has been a great treat to be here at MaryJanesFarm. The tent was great, the staff was wonderful, and MaryJane and Nick couldn’t be more gracious hosts. All-in-all a great way to spend a quiet couple of days with my sweetie. The farm and the people here will stay in our memories and our hearts for a long time to come. We hope to return!

My friends at MaryJanesFarm,
Thank you so much for the kindness that you all have shown us! What an amazing place! I can hardly wait for my next trip back. The outdoor tub, “Whiskers” the chicken, and the food are just a few of my favorite things!

What a beautiful stay we had! Each cabin is so utterly beautiful. The attention to detail and the design of the place is what made our short time here so magical. Thank you!
